Unibank Invest Launches the "Stock Master" Competition

For the first time in Armenia, Unibank OJSC is holding a unique competition – “Stock Master”. The aim of the competition is to develop the investment culture and improve the financial literacy of investors in Armenia.
Participants will have the opportunity to increase their assets and gain valuable knowledge and experience. The competition will also demonstrate the bank's commitment to improving the investment climate and infrastructure by creating new investment opportunities in Armenia.
“Stock Master” will run for three months. The competition will involve 20 investors who will deposit $2,500 (or its equivalent in EUR) in their brokerage account at Unibank and, within three months, make at least one transaction to buy shares of companies included in the S&P 500 index on the NYSE and NASDAQ stock exchanges.
After three months, the three participants with the highest portfolio growth will be declared the winners.
The winners of the “Stock Master” competition will receive:
2nd place - a Berkshire Hathaway stock (~$500)
3rd place - a McDonald's Corporation stock (~$300)
Employees of "Unibank" OJSC are not eligible to participate. To participate in the contest, participants must have a bank account at Unibank and all transactions must be made exclusively through a brokerage account at Unibank Invest.
In the event of a win, participants will not only benefit from their investments, but also from valuable prizes in the form of shares in some of the world's largest companies. Additionally, all participants will receive Unibank shares.
Through this initiative, Unibank Invest (“Unibank” OJSC) demonstrates that despite the relative newness of this sector in Armenia, international investments are becoming more accessible to investors.
