According to him, technology is becoming a key determinant of competitiveness. Artificial intelligence and automation are no longer merely tools for improving efficiency, but essential factors for the long-term sustainability of banks, payment systems, and the broader financial infrastructure.

It was noted that Unibank was the first in Armenia to implement artificial intelligence in credit scoring for unsecured loans, which enabled faster and higher-quality processing of a large number of loan applications.

Mesrop Hakobyan emphasized that platforms such as FINTECH360 create a space for dialogue among market participants and provide opportunities to develop partnerships, exchange experiences, and identify new areas for regional growth.

After the intensive business program, FINTECH360 participants went on an off-site excursion to Garni and Geghard, visited a winery, and took part in a tasting of Armenian wines.
