Unibank has become the Lead Sponsor of the AGBU Global Run in support of Camp Nairi, joining the worldwide fundraising initiative as a corporate donor to help children and families affected by war and displacement.
Funds raised through the initiative will support recreational programs for campers, access to qualified mental health professionals, and the expansion of the program’s capacity to reach more children and mothers.
As Lead Sponsor, Unibank is supporting the initiative in Armenia and across participating communities worldwide. Global Run teams have been formed in cities around the world, including Barcelona, Brussels, Los Angeles, London, New York, Nice, Paris, Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto, Zurich, and many others.
The AGBU Global Run for Camp Nairi will begin in Yerevan on September 13 with a 5K Run/Walk in Hrazdan Gorge, before continuing across 21 cities worldwide.
Located in Armenia’s Lori region, the free overnight summer camp combines traditional camp experiences with professional psychological support in a safe and nurturing environment. Camp Nairi extends its impact beyond the summer camp through mental health services, wellness education and community support for children and their families.
The partnership with AGBU and support for Camp Nairi reflect Unibank’s belief that investing in children’s well-being and creating opportunities for their development can make a lasting difference and help shape a better future. By supporting Camp Nairi, Unibank is helping more children overcome the challenges they have experienced and look toward the future with greater confidence and hope. The Bank’s support contributes to expanding access to an environment where children can feel supported, discover new opportunities and enjoy experiences that contribute to their emotional and personal development.
For 25 years, Unibank has been contributing to Armenia’s economic and social development, combining its role as a financial institution with a strong commitment to the communities, it serves.
